This is a little bit of a rant, but also a legitimate question: when referring to the dotted-eighth delay setting, why write .8 or .8th? Most guitar players understand it as .=dot, 8=8th, but mathematically it doesnt make sense, since .8=8/10=4/5 and not 1/8. If you wanted it in decimals, it would be .125. Convenience is a virtue, but so is being accurate. Im not suggesting anyone is stupid, seriously. I just dont get it. However, if it is that common, I guess I must accept it as an abbreviation.
