This information has been sent on behalf of Neighbourhood and Home Watch Network (Please do not reply directly to this email, please use the Reply button at the bottom of this message) Message sent by Marion Lewis OBE (NHWN, Regional Representative, East Midlands) Police and Crime Commissioner Survey – One Year On In November 2012, Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) were elected by the public to help cut crime and deliver an effective and efficient police service across force areas in England and Wales. As part of their roles, PCCs are expected to engage with the public and ensure that community needs are met as effectively as possible, improve local relationships and increase police accountability. As we approach the one year appointment of PCCs we would like to invite you to participate in our PCC survey to measure any change in opinion and assess your experiences so far. The survey should take no longer than five minutes, responses will remain anonymous and no specialist knowledge will be required. The closing date for this survey is Friday 8th November 2013. To take part in the survey, please click here. The Neighbourhood Watch movement issued a preliminary PCC survey in March 2013 (the results from this survey can be seen here). Since then, many of you have been in touch to discuss PCC issues, and the impact on the movement as a whole.
