This is a message to all my Facebook friends, for 40 years I thought it was not necessary to have go to Church, as long as I was good and that was enough....I started going to Church to please my husband, and found LOVE, they have Loved me though 2 deployments (Gary Elrod) breast cancer, multiple surgeries, the loss of my mom last month and now with my dad rapidly, well I cant say that word yet. Life changes so rapidly, I cant imagine not having the loving support, advice and prayers, the ability to make a panic phone calls (Missy Hobbs McNatt) when I need it a calming voice and a prayer. The praise songs that lift me and get me through the week ( Brad McNatt and The City of Refuge). Please, if you dont have a church just take that step, it is not a easy step to walk into the arms of strangers but it is the best step you will ever take. Thank you Elkmont UMC for loving me.
