This is a name the chihuahua contest. I hope to adopt Snowy, but, heres the problem, I dont like her name. It reminds me of the Frank Zappa tune, dont eat the yellow snow, and she is way too classy for that. So, Im asking you folks to rack your brains for a more appropriate name. If some of you who speak Spanish could come up with a Spanish name (that is not unpronounceable for me) that would be ideal. For an incentive, free lunch at the Chamberlin Bistro to the winner!!! She is only 3 or 4 years old. She lived in an apartment with an elderly woman who had to move to a nursing home, so she is used to not being able to run loose, but she is a really sweet, quiet, dog. The whole time I was filling out my application, I was writing with one hand and she was lying on the counter with my other arm around her. She is being fostered now and her mom told me she is very good at home with her other two dogs. One big plus - she doesnt bark a lot. Also, her foster mom has no problem continuing to keep her until I am moved and settled in. Part of my rejuvenation scheme is that this little girl and I will walk together. In the beginning, we wont cover much ground or tire each other other. But she will learn about the world around her and I will be in better shape. When she is ready to run off leash, the Ridgeway Dog Bark Park is only a couple of miles down the road.
