This is a question many Muslims ask and is a stumbling block. How - TopicsExpress

This is a question many Muslims ask and is a stumbling block. How god pay a penalty to himself for mankind. I request all Muslims to think about this. Take the case of any middle eastern country with a absolute monarchy. Assume the king is honest and just. He follows the rule to the core. One day his son committed a crime for which he has topay a heavy penalty which he cannot afford. And the case is brought before the king and he has to give the verdict. People were curious as they wanted to see how their king is going to respond. He has couple of choices. One, he can just leave his son free because he has the power todo it. But doing that is against law which he himself instituted in his own land. the justice in him did not permit him to do so. Other choice was that he can punish him and the right penalty for the crime, his son will not be able to afford. Love for his son prohibited him. So he gave the right punishment as the verdict and went out and he himself did the penalty. Here we see the law giver is the king and as the head of the govt he is paying it to himself thus he himself is the receiver and finally he paid it himself. This is what God the father did when he let his son( he himself ) die for our sins( which we are unable to pay) to the moral code which he himself created( thus paid it to himself). Now my question to all my friends here is How Allah forgive the sins of people just like that with out any penalty when sharia proposes punishment for every kind of sin. Isnt allah going against his own code or the law. . when I asked this question to a Muslim debater/ scholar he brushed aside my question. Can anybody enlighten me
