This is a repost from Last August. I wanted to post it again because it illustrates the point of just how important the issue of Life Insurance can be. Its well worth the read: Last week I recieved a phone call from one of my oldest clients and friends whom Ive had insured for over 15 years. She called to let me know that her husband who was only 50 years old had passed away. He had surgery, and the procedure went well, but due to post surgery complications he didnt make it. After I swallowed the lump in my throat and choked back the tears I offered my condolences an...d my assistance in any way necessary. Then she ask what we needed to do next, and despite the sadness of the event I felt a small sense of relief because fortunately these were some of my clients that said, YES, when ask if they were interested in life insurance, and for that I am so thankful. Its a fact that the money wont bring her husband back but it will at least ease her mind and help her to face the financial challenges that lie ahead. So with that I want for you to ask yourself this question, If that had been me or my spouse that passed unexpectedly am I 100% sure that Ive done the right things to make sure that my surviving family members can weather the financial burdens that will come afterwards? If that answer is a resounding YES!!! That is GREAT for you. But if its no please make that call today and take the time to talk to your agent and secure your life insurance program before its too late. I am certain that my friend is glad that she and her husband took the time to do it.
