This is a serious problem that could be solved by eliminating pesticides on garden plants that bees go to for honey. Mass production has led to the indicriminate use of these. The bee population is declining and the consequences to fruit orchards that have to have bee pollinators will cause a deline in fruit harvest of apples,pears,cherries,plums. Our ecosystem is fragile and we are not safe guarding it. Tell big box stores to influence growers. Then limit or eliminate the use of pesticides in your own garden. There are non toxic ways to get the same results safely. Round-up is being found in our drinking water across the country.It is a toxin to humans. Try vinegar with a little salt to eliminate pesky weeds. Salt sparingly though- remenber what the Romans did to the Carthegenians- they salted the ground so nothing would grow!
