This is a story which will interest anyone with honesty, integrity and professionalism. I want to say from the outset neither of the two men involved in this story are on facebook and neither of them know that this message is being posted. I do not know either of these two men and they do not know me but i learned the facts of the situation and after reading the related posts on facebook i felt that someone should put the record straight. On friday the 1st of november two men called for a pre-arranged reading for each of them with a medium. One of them had just flown in to Ireland and that was why the readings were scheduled to begin at 9.30. Due to a mix-up at the airport they were delayed and one of them sent a text to say that they would be a bit late. When they arrived 15/ 20 minutes past their appointment time they were told that they were late and that their readings would not be taking place. One of the guys had stayed in the car while the other one went to the door. The appointment, that two people would be coming at 9.30 on friday had been confirmed by the medium on tuesday 29th October by text. On that occassion she provided him with her address so he ciuld easily find her. She had been expecting them and actually called the one who went to the door by his name. The two men went home feeling guilty because they had been late, and upset because the readings had been so inportant to them. To be fair the medium, she did not know that one of them was hoping to hear some message from his deceased mother especially as friday would of been her birthday, in fact that was why he had come home. However, mediums are dealing with peoples emotions and their well-being and i felt that a good and genuine medium would have picked up on that in the brief meeting and a good and genuine person would have been more accommodating. Sittings take 1 hour, so 2 sittings takes 2 hours. 9.30 + 2 hours = 11.30pm. The men were 15/ 20 minutes late that is less than half a sitting, rubbishing the remark made by one commentator on facebook that they were nearly a full sitting late. There was plenty of time to give both men a shortened reading or to give a least one of them a full reading...... when the bookings were made it was made clear that there was 2 and that the first would be at 9.30pm. She knew that at least one of the people coming to her door was a man. The entire situation has been made worse by a facebook post about the incident which paints a whole different picture. The medium has portrayed herself in a poor me scenario with the full facts either omitted or distorted. She has manipulated those contacts who responded to her message and only one was brave enough to point out to her that 15/20 minutes late seems neither here or there, the men were not showing a lack of respect for the medium, there was a genuine reason for them being late and they told her that, even though on here the lady gave the impression that she didnt know what had delayed them. They were 15/ 20 minutes late not nearly a full sitting late. A quick look through the profiles of some of those who responded, either with a comment or a like shows that they too are in the field of spiritualism or holistic healing. The tone of their responses soeaks volumes about their own characters and their empathy with potential clients. According to the mediums own website she is able to pick up on individuals loved ones when she meets them. At one stage she claimed to be able to do phone and e- mail readings. Her treatment of these two men suggests one of two things.....either she cannot connect immediately or she didnt really care about that mans feelings. She claims to be someone that her clients can trust yet she vilifies these two men on here, albeit anonmously. Those actions can do enormous harm to the whole spiritualist movement and if my path and this ladys ever cross it will not be in her capacity as a medium!!!! Those two men went home, the guy whom flew home especially for his reading had gone back again. Both of them feel guilty that they had been late and they are upset because they feel they missed out on what they hoped would be a cathartic and beneficial experience. They are disillusioned because this ladys actions went against what they expected from mediums and they felt that at least one of them could of had a reading especially as they had originally been booked to stay until 11.30pm!!! They arw not being critical of the medium and are beating themselves up for the situation. They understand that she may have been annoyed because they were a bit late and are quite prepared to give this lady the benefit of the doubt by saying that perhaps she didnt receive rhe text telling her that they would be late. After all, she was having trouble with her phone but not being on fb they wouldnt have known that. As far as they were concerned, they had done the decent thing by letting her know the situation. They did not receive the courtesy of a text at an earlier stage stating that she had a problem with her phone. According to fb she got her new phone on friday.... she should return itnifnit cannot receive text messages on time!!!!! Earlier on friday 1st she had posted a message stating i envy everyone with their feet up gonna be a late night again. So she knew the situation and given the times of the bookings, 20 minutes wasnt going to make much difference. The two men are totally unaware of the comments being made on fb behind their backs. They have no idea that the medium is giving herself a pat on the back, with the help of her fb friends, for showing them the door!!! The young man flew from another country just to be there and meet her and pay £30 for a pre-arranged reading. Did she think he was doing it for the fun of it? Did she not consider for one moment that it might of meant alot to him? Did she not pick up on that as she talked to him at the door? For someone in such an emotion -filled profession, where trust and respect for peoples feelings matter so much, she has, on this occasion, behaved in a very unprofessional and uncaring manner and i feel dismayed at the number of people in the same profession who demonstrated the same undesirable traits by their responses on fb. 3 hours ago via mobile · Like · 1..
