This is about the dog attack earlier this week. The owner wanted me to share their side of the story and pictures of the injured dog Hello Dear! I would like to ask you to help with this. I will tell you the whole story from the beggining, but maybe somewhere need to make up, just because my english is not proper, so At 12:36pm on 23rd October 2014 we left our house on Churchill road, to walk our dogs on the garden opposite. We have 3 teacup (1 boy, 2 girl) yorkie and a large female dog Layla. Laszlo, my partner, he saw 2 other dogs in garden, they were just playing with each other freely in the park, they were not on leads. He told me when I want to close the door, please stay there with the dogs, so we wait until they moved into the other side to the garden, 1 black and 1 brown dog was in the garden with a woman and a man owner. Both dog was free, none were on a lead and, and I will confess that we do not and didnt have our dogs on leads which may be wrong, but our 4 dogs, they are well behaved and are use to other dogs large and small and do not have a history of attacking humans or animals, we took lots of time to training them. all 4 dogs are friendly and love each other and love other people. When we saw that dogs they were the other side of the garden far far away from us, we decide to stay over the otherside near the basket ball court. The other two dogs was maybe 20m plus away from us, and they were mounting each other, the black one was mounting the brown one. We saw them and new exactly where they were and where the owners were. I walk with the 3 small dogs infont of me, and behind me was Laszlo and he start playing with Layla (throw wood sticks). We were behind the soccer field already, and from no where Coco arrived and was in with my dogs, she stopped Jenny, was standing on her and then, picked her up in her mouth like a play toy. Coco bit into Jenny and had her locked in its mouth! Jenny started yelping and then was silence from shock I think! Laszlo ran over and caught Coco so he couldnt run off or try and shake Jenny in his mouth! He was trying everything to get her out! He tried to prize his jaws open but that resulted in him getting his hand bitten! We were both shouting for the owner to come over and take control of their dog, she just casually walked over and could see how panicked we were! People even started coming out of their house to come and help! Coco doesnt let Jenny go so Laszlo hit Coco head once, nothing, 2nd and 3rd time, Coco lets her go! During this time I try to keep Layla away from them and collect together my other doggies, and We were so lucky, because few people came around us and tried to help, like hold my dogs, explain that it isnt the first tie this dog has attacked, they also were witnesses to what happened which is very important things, because Coco and her owner they walked away without giving any details, any help it even to say sorry. Nothing. Laszlo gaved me Jenny and I just ran to my neighboors, shes a vet and then we went to Spring Corner Vet... This all happened so fast and it was really scary, Im shaking even now when I writing this down... Can I share few things from my mind? We moved here in Churchill road almost 2 years ago and We are dog owners, which is like having an extended family as you usually know each other like the neighbours and we have never seen Coco before. She is came over into my pack, maybe some kind of hunting strategy. She saw all my dogs from over 20m away maybe even more. why arrived like that? And turn on Jenny and without any tail moving or sniffing each other, why catch Jenny and get her right in the throat like a piece of ham? Jenny is between 5-7 years old, weak, 2.5kg teacup yorkie If Jenny was on a lead, would this type of dog still come over and start a fight?, There was no dog fight, as there was no aggressive behaviour portrayed by any of my dogs before durning or after the very serious attack. If Coco would fight, why didnt she go for Layla, a dog her size build! Something to actually have a territory problem with. Im was not alone with my dogs, my partner was with us and saved Jennies life, otherwise I feel if I was alone at this time, Jenny would be no more. I would like to ask Coco owner, please contact with us. Private message me. Please.
