This is an irony that Pakistani public need to understand and rectify. We cannot have double standards, maybe in the political arena but in the social front we both nations are the victim of the same phenomenon i.e. Terrorism. How could this be that the ones killed by Taliban in Pakistan are SHAHEED and the ones killed by the very same Taliban on the other side of the Durand line are HALAK. So long as we continue this both nations will continue to suffer. This is a 1970 soviet occupation era Pakistani journalism that is seriously outdated and the Pakistani media needs to find something appropriate for today.
