This is an old post, but it has become relevant again, so here it goes... The Friends of Camp Kenan Board of Directors is currently in need of volunteers (aka fresh blood) to join our Board of Directors. These positions are completely voluntary, but are a great way to stay involved and give back to Camp Kenan. As a Friends of Camp Kenan Board member, you will be asked to attend official meetings to be held 6-8 times a year (via skype) and last approximately 1 hour to discuss Friends issues such as Goosestock planning, fundraising, marketing, year round event planning, and perhaps occasional volunteer sessions with camp projects. As any previous board member can tell you, the more effort you put into this position, the more you will get out of it. The position currently comes with a 3 year term commitment and can be done from anywhere with the use of skype, email, phones, and letters to communicate effectively and the willingness to be present when able. We would like to encourage any of you who worked at Camp Kenan or have a connection to Camp Kenan to apply (or ask questions) by sending an email to [email protected] .
