This is an older post, but very poignant. Note that I am forced to read working Mother Magazine because of the misnomer that men dont give a S*** about their kids nor work on schedules, nor have diapers accounts, nor change S**ty diapers, nor Scoop poop out of bathtubs and sterilize the toys, nor take their daughters to therapy, or find shoes on zappos, nor watch them during staff meetings. Now, this is EXACTLY what Im supposed to be doing! Rather what we are supposed to be doing, so no need for accolades but amazonmom...you might be missing out a target market called #lovingdads. Back to the original point of this message. Thank God for the nannies in our lives. Im in-between one right now and its almost killed me. If no one tells you, Im here to let you see behind the BS egos of your super educated highly successful families. Simply said: We would die without you! Thanks for being members of our village. You are not something to be set aside, forced downstairs to your quarters, nor relegated to second class status. Although I love my privacy, I always have time for you and respect yours as well. I am not ashamed of you! You should be heralded! And I thank God for you! Now back to care to see if I can lock in our new family member!! And Stacey Lamont Sydnor brother be proud of your success as a traveling music on the world class level. The Village has you. And Happy 6th to your son!
