This is baffling. Heres what I see: Sooooooo...You call out Nick Cannon as a racist; which implies that you DO NOT consider YOURSELF racist; which means that you consider your perception of a person not swayed, altered, nor jaded by their skin color. (Or, at least, it shouldnt be; since thats, pretty much, THE THING that separates racists from non-racists.) Now, all of that considered, I feel I must point out the obvious. Youre calling him racist because of THE COLOR OF HIS SKIN! Hellloooooo? Yes, he PAINTED it, and it is not his natural color; but if you call him out over changing his skin color, that means you HAVE BEEN negatively affected by his skin color! Derp. Youre so attached to his skin being dark, that you freaked when he put on some makeup! If race doesnt matter, then why get up in arms because someone TEMPORARILY changes theirs? It should not matter if you TRULY are not racist. Michael Jackson is STILL the king of pop! LOL I once wore brown makeup on my face, neck, and shoulders and brown tights under fishnets; I never thought twice about it. The thought that someone might be offended NEVER crossed my mind. I was in character, as is Nick Cannon; I was Lil Kim for Halloween. ...And you want to talk about stereo types?! HA I was one of a group of four girls from Moulin Rouges Lady Marmalade (Pink, Mya, Christina Aguilera, and Lil Kim circa 2001) and I was chosen to be Lil Kim because I had the most junk in the trunk, i.e. I, most closely, resembled a black girl. Stereotypes are REAL. If you dont fit that mold, then GREAT; but the fact of the matter is that there IS a mold (and if you do fit it, thats super, too.) END RANT. NOW... can someone please tell me which race he is against by painting himself white? Cuz I still dont get it. I mean, I HONESTLY dont understand why anyone would be offended by this. Is he considered racist against WHITES, because hes making fun of them; or is he racist against BLACKS because he changed his black skin to WHITE...OF. ALL. THINGS! SERIOUSLY, this is not a rhetorical question. Please answer this question for me, because Im curious...and confused. Plus, I definitely cant buy his music if he is racist against white people! Sheesh! (*note sarcasm) LOL
