This is crazy, and this makes me so mad. Why are teachers held to such a higher standard than other people? 17 is the legal age in Texas, so if youre a normal 17 year old kid and an older person comes onto you and manipulates you into a relationship like what happened to this kid, there are no consequences because the kid is legal. But if that older person is a TEACHER, then theyre arrested?! Ughh. Punishment should be the same no matter what the persons career is...and 17 should not be considered legal.
