This is different. Ive never felt this way before. My oldest daughter, Cherisha Williams, is getting married today to an young man, Duane Garner, whose love and respect for her has caused her, and my granddaughter Trinity, to blossom and come alive in ways Ive never before seen. Im so happy for her. I have prayed for years for her happiness, for her struggles to come to an end, for her to be able to share her life and love with someone who could be trusted. I am grateful to god for answering my prayers. Im feeling some kind of way right now. So, Im sorry but Im not making it to funerals, counseling people, changing my agenda or getting caught up in any drama. Today, Im not the bishop. Im the daddy.
