Thin Walls is coming to the Shadowbox Theatre from the same team (Director Angela Jo Strohm and playwright Michael Allen Zell) behind 2013s Times-Picayune Top 10 play of the year: What Do You Say To A Shadow? Big Easy Award winning actors Mary Pauley and Richard Mayer reunite for Thin Walls, along with Big Easy winner Jake Bartush, Hope Leigh, and Samantha Mullen. Music by Katarina Katarina Boudreaux. Two slippery characters, sideshow performers M. Queneau and Miss Elastic, soon arrive, putting a formerly static place in motion. Thin Walls looks back to the influence of silent film to step forward. Shadow was called the emergence of an exciting new voice in theatre, with Mary Pauley in one of the most remarkable performances of the year, and that Richard Mayers talent shines. Thin Walls is the first of three Zell-penned theatrical productions coming over the next nine months. Early 2015 brings an adaptation of the neo-noir novel Errata written by Michael Zell (published by Lavender Ink), a Times-Picayune top 10 book of 2012. Additionally, The Mudlark Puppeteers will be putting on Oblivion (stories, songs, and dance from The Oblivion Atlas (also published by Lavender Ink)) in May 2015.
