This is from Roberta Flacks first album (the same one that had First Time I Ever Saw Your Face). Its actually a song from a 1948 Pedro Infante film of the same name and is based on a poem, Píntame angelitos negros, penned by Venezuelan writer Andrés Eloy Blanco.. Theres also an interesting Eartha Kitt version on YouTube. The second link is for a trio version of the same song that Roberta Flack did for the PBS TV station in LA in the 1970s. youtu.be/x2DrMaMu1h8 kcet.org/shows/studio_a/bands/roberta-flack/robert-flack-performs-angelitos-negros.html
