This is going to get personal and not man friendly, so consider - TopicsExpress

This is going to get personal and not man friendly, so consider yourself warned. So I want to talk hormonal birth control with those ladies on here who use it. Frankly, my bodys reversing again, and though the supplements that have worked for me for the past five years are great, they dont lighten my monthlies which are totally out of control at this point due to a hormonal imbalance we have been trying to figure out since I was nine. I cant figure out a good reason to have a monthly more often than twice a year, and Im completely fed up with the whole process of trying to figure out what my body feels like doing this month and how to accommodate that. Im thinking about getting an IUD, but every doctor Ive talked to has a different story on it, and my own research has been inconclusive. Im also considering trying the pill, thinking that maybe if I can give my body an example of how its supposed to work, it will get the hint (temporary medicinal drug usage coupled with holistic methods for this purpose has worked in the past for me). I have a history of (though no longer have currently, due to the holistic stuff I do) endometriosis, ovarian and fallopian cysts, heart disease, blood sugar swings, Graves disease, Hashimotos disease, liver and kidney weakness, lymphatic disease, anemia and blood clots. I was recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, but its steadily improving due to an herbal supplement. Im familiar with this being a side effect of Merina as it increases immune system agitation and inflammation in the body. (If you have that IUD Id love to hear how its working for you!) So my question to you is, IUDs- did you get one? How is it working for you as far as side effects? How did it impact your monthlies? Pretty much the same questions for the pill. Talk to me ladies. When the books and professionals cant help you, the victims, I mean clients/patients, can. Feel free to Private message me or post here if youre not shy. :-)
