This is going to sound crazy, but here goes... If you know Silas, or have followed our posts over the past year, you KNOW how Silas LOVES food - and LOVES to watch Man -vs- Food, and how Silas LOVES to go to places where Adam Richman has visited. When I asked him recently if there were ANYONE he wanted to meet in this world, he said (quickly, I might add) Adam Richmann. This was right after we had finished reading the book, America the Edible - by Adam himself! Silas loves for me to read aloud to him, since he is visually impaired, and hasnt felt like reading either. Up until a week ago, he still could enjoy watching the Travel Channel or the Food Network, even watching reruns of Man -vs- Food. Here is my request: Please go to the facebook page of Adam Richmann, and request that he come to meet Silas. Sooner rather than later. Someone around here has mentioned they have his e-mail address. Please share! Maybe if enough people contact him, Mr. Richmann would honor Silas with a visit! Thanks, all!
