This is going to sound harsh, but these medically trained individuals whom have been treating or have been in close contact of Ebola infected people and then contracting it themselves and then going out and traveling: confined public aircraft, public confined cruise ships, buses. etc.., need to be treated as Bio-Terrorists. They are trained in medicine and have better knowledge than the common joe about contagions. When they discover they have been potentially exposed and then blow it off and go about, not just in public areas, but confined close contact public spaces where they have the BEST chance to spread the disease. We have one nurse that DID contract Ebola and flew TWICE on a confined public aircraft, potentially spreading to a large unknown amount of people (we will call them victims at this point). Then we have another whom went on a cruise ship. I realize they are all trying to pass the buck about how they knew nothing about Ebola prior to patient zero coming in and are trying to blame the hospital itself for their lack of training. But AFTER they had the patient and the CDC stepped in, they became trained and informed and then chose to still travel on publicly confined carriers/vessel where they could spread it themselves. Knowing they had a quarantine period to follow up to 21 days to make sure they were not carrying the virus. Its nothing short of Bio-Terrorism. Why bio-terrorism? If I am in my vehicle and driving down the road and I decided to drink and drive and while driving drunk, I am also updating my facebook (texting and driving - distracted driver} and I run over aq child and kill them, am I not charged with vehicular homicide? In this example, I did not intentionally run the kid over. I ran the kid over because of my careless negligence while operating a vehicle putting the public in danger and actually killing someone accidentally, whereas if I were not being careless it would have been prevented and altogether avoided. I could say sorry all I wanted, but because I was intoxicated and texting while driving, there is neither forgiveness nor excuse for my actions and I must be charged and tried for vehicular homicide or accidental homicide, whatever your state labels it. Knowingly having been exposed to a deadly and contagious virus and knowing it is spreading among your co-workers whom had been exposed in a similar manner, whereas you have an extraordinary chance to having the virus now yourself and knowing that it could be up to 21 days until you actually have symptoms, but disregarding what you have been told and your medical training on contagions...... We even have the President of the United States, even though publicly trying to down play it - he has no choice and must do what he can to prevent public panic - is privately shitting bricks and being monitored and being discreetly contained, because he hugged two of the nurses that treated the cameraman being treated for Ebola, congratulating them for doing a good job.
