This is gonna be long - While my friends were spending money on outstation trips, daaru, masti, aish and tafri, I was saving my money and spending my time to earn more. Why? So that I could spend it on buying good branded clothes, accessories, gadgets and other classy stuff. All materialistic things. Even though I love food so much I used to refrain myself spending on it too much. I used to settle for Rs. 50 waale chole bhature rather than buying Rs. 200 waala pasta. Sooner in my life I realised that this is not what I want and after saving a lot of money and buying a lot of expensive stuff I am NOT feeling CONTENT. I am wasting my time. So what did I do? I started investing major part of my money on 2 things - 1. Stuff that would help me multiply it 2. Experiences Multiplying your money is good but you need to run your mind and think wisely. Invest on assets! Experiences last longer. Want to buy happiness? Purchase an experience. When the happy realization went through me, I decided to cut myself a little loose. And there was a time when I started eating biryani almost every week :P , went to places I had never imagined to go to, tried different cuisines and food available to my reach. Now most of my spendings were on food and travel
