This is great to hear! A former client of Volunteers of America, Phonecia Carney, who has advocated to Metro Council re: the Louisvillle Affordable Housing Trust Fund, will be on WLKY news tonight. In 2007 she and her children were homeless and today she was presented a house key as she is in the Fuller Center for Housing home ownership program, where after paying rent on time for a year, she becomes a homeownerin the house she is sharing with her children. Affordable housing is the answer!
