This is how much our Westminster government thinks of us. Remember - TopicsExpress

This is how much our Westminster government thinks of us. Remember the 2008 MP Expenses outcry? Well theyve just spent a record breaking £103MILLION on expenses last year. On top of an 11% wage increase. Westminster dos not care about the people of the UK, never mind Scotland. OUr (The UKs) complaints and protests were ignored. We have an opportunity to change their monopoly of power South of the M25. And theyre only now freaking out about the prospect. Ive said it before. This isnt about a Braveheart mentality. Its simply about democratic choice. A new political system. Im not Salmonds biggest fan, but I see an Independent Scotland being free from the SNP. Theres no need to have a Nationalist party in an Independent Scotland. The Tories will disappear, as their outdated policies should disappear. We may see a resurgence of OLD Labour, more in line with the principles of Kinnock and Atlee, as opposed to the thinly disguised Centre / Right Wing policies of Blair and Brown. The Green party will finally establish itself as a major party to be reckoned with, after years of wasted vote propaganda - well, because we really need to be paying attention to that particular party, if we want a planet to be able to hand over to our children. Scotlands traditional Socialist thinkers will once again come to the fore, after being overshadowed for so long, and we will see a change in the political system. That is the real threat to Westminster. True democracy. The sheer amount of interest, and conflict and debate and passion that this Referendum has brought about is testament to the people of Scotland and the UK - we ARE Interested in our politics, we just lose interest when our voices are not heard. Im accept the outcome of this referendum, because, (operationally anyway, if certainly not in media coverage) it appears that its been a fair and balanced process. Fine. Happy to go with that decision. If the majority of Scots vote No, then No it is. As long as its a fair and just process.
