(This is in response to this facebook thread https://facebook/primitivepete/posts/10202270703596720?comment_id=10202278410189380&offset=0&total_comments=7¬if_t=share_comment and a series of related e-mails to rally support to Kobach and some select GOP candidates.) The Article V movement is based on the premise that our Republic is in the shape it is because our federal elected officials are not upholding their sacred oath to support (follow) the Constitution. Their solution is to amend the Constitution. How will changing the Constitution turn lying, oath breaking politicians into honest statesmen? Absurd! The Article V promoters have identified the wrong problem and their solution does not address the problem they have identified. They also ignore the fact that our state legislators have been working with the federal legislators to violate the Constitution and erode our fundamental rights? This has been going on at least since 1903 with the Dick Act. The fact this movement was funded ($.5-1.2 billion) and initiated over 50 years ago by the collectivist Ford Foundation (and Rockefeller Foundation) to realign our Constitution with their collectivist ideology is ignored at our peril. Billionaire funded non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have been involved every since. Over the last 20 years or so it has primarily been organizations associated with the libertarian Koch brothers, primarily the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). Recall this ALEC model was used to pass the Federal Reserve Act which resulted in the greatest fraud perpetrated in the history of mankind, except for the dealings Eve had with the serpent in the garden. It is organizations associated with the Kochs (and their billionaires boys club) that have been paying taking heads such as Levine, Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity millions of dollars starting in 2008 - 2010 and continuing to this day.
