This is joey hes approx 5 years old, he was in a pound serving his 7 days when we were able to save him, he went to a lovely foster home to deal with a horrible skin condition that had been left to make him so bad his feet would bleed when he walked. Less than a week into his new life, when he was just learning how to be loved and wanted again he found himself in a situation where members of the public felt the need to beat him, they also used objects to do this and kicked him more times than any of us could ever know, his foster mum was also badly injured during this incident so badly Joey had to be moved. He ended up with severe bruising along with concussion, so now faced with not only his terrible skin condition but injuries sustained as well. We managed to get him a new foster mum who has worked really really hard to make him comfortable so he could heal and overcome his skin condition, but he has proved time and time again he wasnt going to give up, and we wont either. We are now looking for the final step in his journey, a home to call his own, where he will feel safe and loved and never feel abandoned again.
