This is likely the dumbest thing Ive ever seen. This person is afraid that the electromagnetic field (EMF) from the tiny radio transmitter in the meter is dangerous without the slightest thought given to the fact that the wiring throughout the house gives off fields hundreds of thousands of times stronger. A motor is the electricity putting out a strong enough field to actually move something. The thing theyre afraid of isnt even as powerful as a AA battery. So based on this fear, this person shows you how easy it is to potentially electrocute yourself with enough electricity to power every house on your street as well as set their house on fire. They didnt mention where their new meter came from, but if its a knockoff thats not UL listed or if it was a defective or broken one they bought off the internet, theyre risking both burning their house down and being sued for the damages of replacing all the wires going up and down the street if their meter shorts out. Thats also why this is a felony, so theres that too. This is the worst kind of idiot, the kind who puts others at risk with their stupidity.
