This is mayday response to my email .......Dear Ms Barnes Thank you for your e-mail dated 26 March 2014, received in which you raise concerns regarding the treatment your son received whilst a patient of Croydon Health Services. I am sorry to learn of your experience and would like to apologise on behalf of the Trust for any subsequent upset and inconvenience caused. Your concerns will be passed to the Divisional Manager who will appoint an investigating officer to carry out a thorough, confidential investigation into the issues. We aim to complete an investigation into your concerns and reply to you with a formal response from the Chief Executive in about 25 working days or earlier if possible. We will contact you if we find we require more time to complete the investigation. In order to ensure patient confidentiality, please could you confirm your sons postal address. We welcome feedback as a way to improve our services and would not wish patients or their carers to feel anxious when they raise concerns. I would like to reassure you that raising these issues with us should in no way adversely affect any care and treatment you may require at any time from services and departments of Croydon Health Services. If you would find it helpful, we would be happy to arrange an opportunity for you to meet with us to discuss your concerns directly. You would be welcome to bring a friend or advocate with you to attend any meeting.
