This is my Daily with the King Devotional message. I never thought of Gods need for love from us sinners, or even what it meant until I read this. It is a quite long; but hopefully like me it will sink in and finally make sense! This is long, so if you are not dedicated to Jesus and Gods work for us; you may not want to read this! I, however, felt the need to share it with anyone who cares to read about it! I learned a lot from this devotion! I hope you will too! God bless you! Titled: Christs Love Needed Lord, I promise for now on to be more sensitive to your love need. I have been selfish in this, thinking only of my love need and how I could satisfy it! I have bent myself in prayer before you, begging for conscience evidence, however slight, of your love for me. How one sided! I hear you say, Do you love me.......? (John 21:15) and wonder why you ask, You who know all things. Now I see what you mean: I know You love Me; now demonstrate it, evidence it. Love is never satisfied with abstractions, only personal tangibles. Give Me a drink,You ask (John 4:7) You know that inwardly I am giving you something to drink all the time, but still You demand that I do it outwardly. A startling thought: the all-sufficient One asks that I make Him complete. The Lord needs loved ones; the Savior needs sinners, the worshiped One needs worshipers. I am not sure I understand this, Lord, but if it is not true, that (John3:16) is a meaningless hoax. When I was a young Christian, Lord, I thought my love for you must be proved through exploits. Now I realize you are far more concerned with my fellowship. Remember Me. NOT Die for Me or Risk for Me but simply, Remember Me Loves requirement is ridiculously simple. Just be there for Me How often, Lord, have I brought my shopping list to You instead of simply opening the door for You and letting you come in to supper with me and I with You! Even though You are in Heaven, glorified, you still have need to sit down with me and become one with me in personal fellowship. Now I understand what You meant when You said, The Lords portion is His people (Deuteronomy 32:9). Holiness is your greatest requirement, but Your people are Your greatest delight. Lord, help me to delight You with a hundred ways of expressing my love for You. Keep yourselves in the love of God. waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus to eternal life (Jude 21).
