This is my friend Dick Pretzel. He started his journey to go after his dream of being a standup comedian shortly before I decided to go after my dream of having my own cleaning business. I watched him suffer through it for a few months, doing benefit shows, and just trying to grab any open mic he could. He had car troubles, he had employment troubles, but in his every spare moment, he grabbed for his dream. He was a huge inspiration for me to get off my butt, and stop making excuses, and just go for it. Couple of years later, we are both well on our way..Not where we want to be, but definitely on the path. If we had given up when it got rough, where would we be? Not living our dreams, thats for sure.
