This is my last post ever on Facebook. It has been wonderful knowing you and helping you and having silly fun teaching you words like dangly bits and rumpy pumpy. But this is it……………it’s all over. Not as some of you might think because of the heated discussion on smoking or because I can’t take the constant criticism of everything I do or say on cruise criticism……………nope, it’s because…………..and I am in cold sweats just writing this…………….I have lost two receipts from my company visa expense card. One for my transport to Heathrow to fly here and the one for the taxi from Vegas airport to Caesars Palace. You may laugh but the person in charge of this is very, very strict and now I am in terrible trouble. Our Chairman Micky Arison once lost a receipt for a business lunch and the people in charge of accounting took away his company credit card for a week and, as extra punishment, made him stand in the parking lot at Miami HQ for three hours, in the hot sun, wearing only his underpants, holding a sign that said “I must not lose a receipt ever again.” Then there is the mysterious story of a lady who worked for Carnival for 12 years. She apparently decided to upgrade her car rental and she also added a GPS and the fuel option and after she upgraded she mysteriously disappeared. We were told that she had left the company and had become a nun in the mountains of Bolivia but we all knew what had happened. She had broken our accounting departments laws and was probably either in a basement dungeon at CCL HQ……….. or was swimming with the fishes. Oh FFS
