This is my new story Im working on. Its a story about Mary, Queen of Scots. PROLOGUE France, 1557. I, Mary, Queen of Scots, have been hidden away at a convent for my safety since the age of nine. Engaged since childhood to the future king of France, I await my return to the French Court. It was a sunny afternoon. All of the women gossips about anything, as we sit at the table awaiting for our dinner. There were about a dozen of bowls that were on top of plates. Spoons to the side, and large wooden cups to accompany it. It was one woman in particular. Whenever Id look at her, shed look away as if she were never looking at me. Until finally, we locked eyes and smiled at one another. She started to cough. I was still smiling at her, but then it looked as if white foam started to creep out of her mouth. She bent over her plate, and thats when I realized it. Blood trailed from her ears, and dripped from her porcelain face to the plate in front of her. She was paler than Id ever seen her, and then the blood trickled down her nose. What is this? I thought. Women started to scream, and I grabbed Lilith, my young friend, and she jumped into my lap, hiding and screaming. I looked away as I tried to soothe her, but it didnt seem to work. All she kept doing was crying and screaming.
