This is not news, but the information is important and a hugh health issue in the US. Last night I took Sam to the ER cause of Hives. First we thought it was insect bites but later Dr said it must have been something he ingested. He had two packs of fruit snack from Sams club that a friend brought to the park. This happend 2 years ago as well, although not as severe. That time after taking an all natural cough medicin from Whole foods. Food dyes are so bad and I cannot understand why this country still allow them. As a side note. At the hospital, they tried to give Sam cherry flavored Benadryl (contains red 40) when that didnt work, they put his medicin in some chocolate pudding. I learned today that all store bought chocolate pudding contains at least one food dye. Ironic dont u think?! Lets cure this boys allergy to food dye with some food dye just sayin...
