This is not usually the kind of thing I do but as I get older and also now being a father I have become more and more aware of how blessed we are to live in a country that is great for many reasons. One of them being we dont know what its like to be hit with a natural disaster like the typhoon that hit the Phillippines last week. In North America we just see death tolls as numbers and children who are orphaned and homeless as faces on a television screen. If you can go without a night out for dinner this month or anything at all a donation to ShelterBox can help give shelter and supplies to the a few of the 700K+ people left homeless from this disaster.
