This is only the information age if people choose to be informed. Otherwise it becomes the mis or disinformation age, as this fringe driven article demonstrates. A profoundly misleading article and headline, that when one investigates translates to - cars will be banned from certain streets in two cities. The use of a mall as the banner picture should give perspective to the authenticity or otherwise of this article. Further investigation of the assertions shows that without authentic context, one can make a brick appear as though it is levitating. Heres what happens when this article is researched and context re-apllied. Trust a Green or the fringe? The Finnish capital has announced plans to transform its existing public transport network into a comprehensive, point-to-point mobility on demand system by 2025 – one that.....in theory....would be so good nobody would have any reason to own a car... It matters, then, whether Helsinki – and the graduate engineering student the municipality has apparently commissioned to help it design its platform – is proposing a truly collective next-generation transit system for the entire public, or just a high-spec service for the highest-margin customers... It remains to be seen, too, whether the scheme can work effectively not merely for relatively compact central Helsinki, but in the lower-density municipalities of Espoo and Vantaa as well... Responses to the article: CAMILLA ELENA FABRIZI Sorry Milan could not be listed here. Apart from few streets where private cars are forbidden, the rest of the city is almost constantly invaded by people driving to work...I live here and I can guarantee you that theres no such device anywhere... fastcoexist/3040634/7-cities-that-are-starting-to-go-car-free?utm_source=facebook#6
