This is proving harder than I thought. Just first want to thank everyone who expressed their interest in joining the 7Team this year. We are deadly serious about whats taking place this year. Its a bit of a dilemma. Some people are great with photography and a keyboard but not knowledgeable in the industry. Others know a great deal about the industry but are unproven with a camera or keyboard. Others still can shoot and know plenty about what we need but must develop their expression in written form. Others again still are leaving the country when I would like to have them the most. Im looking at you Daniel and Rob! :P We are of course considering the learning curve of any aspects that need to be developed. There is a short list and I will be getting back to everyone but what I really need is a photo-journalist who is strong in every area and can lead a team under me since my title in the new business is going to change to CCO, or Chief Content Officer. I need someone LOYAL above all else... Someone who will put 7Tunes interests above their own when the situation calls for it. I realise that, because of this, Im drawing from a VERY small pool of people within Japan if thats the goal. But this is going to open doors for the person we select who is guaranteed a salaried, health insured and pension funded position in return for full time commitment to the company.
