This is ridiculous. Honestly I used to see this as a race issue because yes, black individuals still deal with a great amount of discrimination today. Its sad that it is almost 2015 and people still have to fight for basic human rights. But this is a way bigger issue than that. Thats what the media wants. It wants to distract people from the actual problem. When people talk about this, they like to point out the different races rather than talk about the actual problem which causes not only tension, but it makes people angry, and feel more discriminated and it makes people fight against each other. This isnt about race any more. This is about men vs the system. They are trying to turn us against each other so that we will be more oblivious and ignorant to what is actually happening. Police officers are getting away with so much just because they are cops and because they know they can and because they know nothing bad will happen to them. Even with actual evidence of the brutality that occurs. They literally take away peoples right from them. Its one thing is the individuals were actually commuting crimes and not following the law and being violent towards the officer, but they literally did nothing wrong. Nothing. Just because they have a badge doesnt mean they can treat people any way they please. As a law enforcement professional, they have the obligation to be more ethically upstanding than the average man, not less.
