This is sad... but heres a dose of reality. If I may draw an analogy, this is exactly the case of a husband cheating on his wife, because she isnt as youthful, tender, jovial, or passionate. Shes given up everything for him, but it only meant that she is no longer the person she was and he doesnt love this person that she is anymore. He is who he is now, with his career, a family, financial stability - because of her presence in his life - but he doesnt realise this, and he wont, until shes gone. Love yourself more, because if even you dont love yourself - you dont deserve to be loved. That, is the secret to keeping a relationship alive. There are some things that you can never sacrifice/compromise. Your ambition, your family, your friends - are some of them. And if someone really loves you, he/she will learn to respect that and will make an effort (not to steal you away from your life) but to be a part of your life (at the same time, letting you in his/her life as well, of course).
