This is so sad and happening everywhere. In Atlantic City it goes on too. My daughter was buying a pizza I stepped away to look at a store across the street. The kids were all in my car. While my daughter was waiting a man in the car in front of mine hit my car pretty hard. He was getting ready to drive away when my daughter called him back and had a few choice words for him. The man put up his hands to hit my daughter and she called for help, what she thought was going to be help, The police. They arrived she told her story and they let the man go, no warning, nothing just go. Now the fun begins. She asked why are they letting him go after hitting my car, ready to flee and threatened to hit my daughter. No answers were given. When I approached them my daughter proceeded to explain what happened there was so much commotion I asked my daughter to calm down. I at that time asked if anything was needed from me cause my car was hit, their reply was no. Before you knew it they gave my daughter a dozen tickets even though the car was mine and I had all the papers on hand. When we went to court the prosecuter asked what happened in front of the cop that gave all the tickets. He was found fibbing, let go and we still had to agree to pay a ticket for no booster seat even though the car did not belong to my daughter. To top it all off, the judge didnt want to hear nothing except for what was agreed to be paid. Needless to say, I no longer serve Jury Duty. The best liar wins in court! I worked in City Hall for so many years and never realized how corrupt the system is. very sad!
