This is still one of my favorite videos of all time. To me, it is pretty amazing how well some of Fords old technology still manages to provide a competitive platform against some of the latest stuff on the track. Where the Porsches really close it up is in the corners; but look at their tires: those 18-plus wheels are hiding some massive brake rotors under there, and it really makes a difference in the twisties. Compared to the measly mustang brakes inside those 15 wheels (12-inch rotors at best), its no wonder they close the gap...but man, does that v8 sound good! youtube/watch?v=rBRPy8n2L3E
