This is such a sad day. Australia, Our home, has been violated. My parents left Iraq to save their lives and to give their children a life of freedom. We never believed that this could happen in our beautiful adopted country. Im trying hard to hold onto my pacifism but it is very hard to do that today. I hope that this ends well for the hostages and I hope for a catastrophe of Old Testament proportions for the gunman and for any jihadist or Isis or terrorist or whatever They call themselves.
