This is the Ascension Drum and Bugle corps in Washington D.C. in I believe about May of 1962. We were there for the National safety patrol program parade. They pulled us out of our Confirmation line so we could catch the train. Im sitting on the ledge 4th from the left, my brother mark is sitting on the top step with his hand under his chin. Our brother Steve is the 3rd kid from the left standing looking down at Mark. Our brother Dean is 2 left of Steve. Our dad Delbert Prince started the corp in about 1958, that is him standing on the stairs 5th from the bottom with the VFW hat on, Father Coates is 2 to the right of him. Congressman Clark Macgregor is in between them. Albert Taylor is sitting at the end of the wall I believe that Brian Synder is the kid standing behind him. I will try to post names with the faces when I get better at this. We had fun while the corps were together, let me know if you can put names on some of the faces.
