This is the FAQ taken directly off of my website. I am resposting this for new friends or friends who have a memory as "good " as mine. ;) Let me know if you have any questions! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: How do I place an order? A: When you are ready to place your order, please contact me either by email, Facebook, or by giving me a call. Due to the fact that I work full-time and bake part-time, I prefer to coordinate with you directly and get all the details I will need before you place your final order. Nothing frightens me more than receiving a surprise random order with no details! Q: Do you only make cupcakes? A: No. Though 90% of my menu is cupcakes, I also make other yummy treats that are on my “secret menu”. Q: Do you do weddings? A: In an effort to not compromise the quality of my sweets (or my sanity), I typically only try to work with smaller scale weddings. I want to guarantee you the best product on your special day and the best way for me to do that is to put a limit on how many sweets I can/will make. I also prefer to have some conversation with you and have you sample my cupcakes before we come to an agreement that will best suit your event. Q: Do you do mini cupcakes? A: In all honesty, I have not fully ventured into the land of minis. The little bit that I have experimented with them, they seem to be more effort and time consuming than regular size cupcakes. My cupcakes have a lot of unique flavors that wouldn’t be as well displayed in a mini cupcake. For these reasons, I do not make them at this time. Sorry, mini connoisseurs! Q: Do you make themed/character cupcakes? A: With every batch that I bake, I am striving to refine every step of the process to make sure that my unique flavors stand on their own. For that reason, I feel my energy is better spent making and inventing delicious, classy sweets that can compliment any event. I am happy to coordinate colors with you! Q: How do you handle larger orders? A: For orders of 3 dozen or more, I prefer that the customer place a 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of ordering. The deposit solidifies our agreement, ensures that I place you on my calendar for your requested date, and helps avoid cancellations. Should you need to cancel your order, you will forfeit your deposit. Schedules permitting, I will allow for rescheduling should an emergency arise. Q: I want to place an order, but I’d like to get several different flavors. Do you do that? A: While I am happy to split your order, please keep the flavors to a minimum of two flavors per dozen (6 of each) to avoid waste. Please keep in mind that I am a small, home-based operation in addition to working a full time job. Unlike a fully operating bakery with a storefront, I do not have multiple flavors on hand at any given time. I make each order specifically for each customer to ensure freshness and quality. Q: Do you deliver? A: If you live in the Stockton/Lodi area, most times I am able to make accommodations to deliver or meet you if my schedule permits. If you live outside of those areas, a delivery fee will apply depending on the distance you live from Lodi. Please be aware that I work full-time for “the man” and therefore do not have normal operating hours, but I am happy to work with you in order to get your sweets to you! Q: Can you change/substitute flavors in a certain cupcake especially for my event? A: While I am happy to work with you on what flavors and colors will go best with your special event, I typically do not like to change or substitute flavors or fillings as I have given my menu and each flavor on it a lot of thought. Each flavor that is on my menu has been tried and tested true. Changing even the smallest ingredient can sometimes end badly. If you don’t believe me, ask my husband how many times he’s found me sobbing on the kitchen floor after a baking experiment has gone horribly wrong. I want to give you my best! You deserve it! Q: Do you do orders on Sundays? A. Because I do not have the restrictions of “normal business hours”, I can usually accommodate weekend orders as long as I have enough notice.
