This is the amazing Margaret Schlicting, a woman that leads by example, the best example of simple pure Truth, Love and Life. She probably raised 8 children including her sisters 4 and 4 of her own. Well to this day, I realize she positively influenced me more than any other human being I have ever met. Look her here on the photo with me and Sister Nancy. What a beautiful 95 years healthy and sharp gal she is! I do want to be like her when I grow up. She influenced me in the kitchen, at Church, and was the ultimate way shower of what family can be. She eludes positivity in all she does. 4 hours was not enough for this visit, but my Soul was enriched. We have 3 prints from her son, Michael......of Proposal Rock right there at the Neskowin beach. That is his gallery that I am standing by, right by the main house, the barn, and now other Schlicting Family homes too. I still have one of her pieces of 2 pears she painted for me at Christmas one year. She still loves her pears and still loves to paint pears and beyond!
