This is the device I have created to investigate the effect of magnetic compression on voltages. It serves to experiment with what I call passive power systems. I have noticed a stable background voltage which I am attempting to measure, optimize, and syphon into a small capacitor. Eventually to power a single LED as proof of concept . Strangely enough, it seemed to amplify my own bodys voltage when I inadvertently made contact with the circuit! Im exhausted and need sleep after building this, and since my results are looking far less promising than earlier this evening, I am deciding to call it a night. For those who are interested in their own experiments, what I am doing is bringing opposing poles of stacks of magnets into close proximity with each other. I was then attempting to apply voltages across this system in an attempt to create small electromagnetic pulses with a modulator. Before I even got that far, I became absorbed into observations that the system presented without even applying power yet! That being, a strong amplification of bio-electric field when tested on myself and measured by my voltmeter; and... A strange background (millivoltage) reading, above that of the environment; which seemed to replace itself immediately upon discharge by short circuit. This small background is attributed directly to to locked potentials of the magnets, their proximity, and their spatial orientation. The device shown merely is designed to hold 20 neodymium rare earth magnets; in two stacks, 10 each. These oppose each other with such repulsive force, that I needed to find a way to physically restrain them lest they fly off the board again! Trust me, they bite! The odd screw protrusion is a crank. This lets me crank the one magnet stack closer to the other. It works damn well!! A little too well, and actually allows me to press them so close together, that they contact ! No good, as this causes an immediate short and the potential is lost. By tuning position and distance I was seeing influences on background readings, both positive and negative. I am then lead to ponder if it is possible to leach this energy? Seeing that it is so eager to replenish itself upon withdrawal ...? The energy itself is locked in the substructure. The system places objects in positions in space with which they do not want to exist in. They explore every avenue to dissipate this excess of potential through kinetics, sound, heat, and magnetism. If we block various avenues, we tend to get a more predictable outflow as magnetic potential. Leaching this small amount of energy very temporarily satisfies the equilibrium as, because the atoms within the crystal state of the magnets, just simply cannot move anywhere else ! This causes them to exist in a permanent state of potential regardless of draw. This potential is minimal. But its there! And I want it !!! Much more experimentation is warranted. And today is a new gift... A package of time to explore more possibilities! Wish me luck .... Again ;)
