This is the first chance that Ive really had to get on fb and update. First, I am thankful, once again, the God has brought us through a struggle...a scary time...a time the that could have easily pulled us apart and He protected us and kept us all together and safe. We went in for a routine check on Tuesday (knowing that we were having contractions, so) and ended up in an emergency type situation where my husband could not be with me (i had to be put to sleep) and woke up with my baby being 4 hours old and not having been with her mama (breaks my heart). The good news: 1. Eden is nursing like a champ. 2. She did get to be with her Daddy that whole time and Mitchell is awesome (so I have no doubt that she was loved on plenty and nurtured as she needed). 3. Although we are staying some extra time in the hospital, its not because of Eden. I lost a lot of blood during surgery so we are just waiting on my hemoglobin to recover. 4. Also, because my brother, sister-in-law , and mama are so awesome, Lilly is having a great time just down the road. She is so excited about Eden and loves being with her sister who she is getting to see a lot . 5. Plus, they weighed Eden to see how much weight she has lost (totally normal) and just like her sister, she has actually gained weight. Yes!!! Thank you to all the family and friends that have come to see us, loved on our sweet Eden, and especially for the prayers and support. We value it all so much.
