This is the most despicable thing I have seen coming from the government! This has got to stop! I have nothing against the Native Americans, I have many relatives that are descendants of the tribes. My point is, we as a nation have been enabling them by the payouts they get every month. I would bet that many of those receiving have no idea what it is for. It is unfortunate the way their ancestors were treated, but there is nothing we do today that is going to correct that, no amount of money will change history. what I would suggest is, first; the US government cede ownership of all the reservations (now called Nations) to the tribes living in those nations. Second, stop all payments to those nations and let them operate just like the rest of the states, free to lease mineral rights, ranch land etc. The only difference is they would become self sufficient and it would make them proud again! Third; the UN has no business interfering with anything within our sovereign Republic, get us out of the UN
