This is the photo of the building that stood between the Baptist Church house and the State Bank Building in Percy St. It was called the Shepherds Arms (photo 1846) also known as the Good Lady. I havent got any research material to go with it. It had a lane beside it that went down to a caravan park (maybe the Daldee caravan park) My memory of looking down the lane was a caravan park and a tennis court. When pulled down it was replaced by the Mt. Gambier stone building which is there today. Alec Tulloch had his shop in the middle shop of 3. (i.e. if my memory is still working). There was a fruit lolly ice cream shop on the right hand side of Alec Tullochs. The wall of the building on the right is/was the State Bank Building). As I mentioned no research just memory. Correct me if Im wrong.
