This is verbatim, (part of) a conversation I had today. People like this woman are WHY Im strong. Theyre WHY I believe in myself. Theyre WHY I tolerate other women (sometimes)! đ Me: I need a tan. Her: Maybe...but you need a pedicure, more. And... You need to be put in a position where males hit on you....and remind you that youre a female...and not just a super badass mom. All single moms need this from time to time. And, you need to crush some of their egos to remind yourself of the powerful, attractive, single female you are. And you need some girl time with a friend to remind you that females are good....that BEING a female is good, female friends are supposed to be supportive and uplifting, and when quality females support each other, they are even stronger than when they stand alone....which is pretty damn strong anyway! :-) This woman has been my friend for many, many years. But she has been my FRIEND, for a few, now. Shes smart, equipped, witty, beautiful, funny, tolerant, nonjudgmental, kind, giving, faithful, STRONG, determined, and MINE. She is MY. FRIEND. And Im so very blessed to be uplifted by her badassery, when necessary. đȘ
