This is what Im saying constantly on the statuses I post (well to the people who actually read them and take in the knowledge im trying to pass on, I just wanna say thank you to the bunch who comments and has inputs on my subjects towards the world and music). Every RnB/Hip Hop/Dance/Techno/Trance track you listen to now-a-days and im not saying all, just mainly the mainstream music is basically the same song just different sounds, lengths and artists but basically same technique in each track, with Dance/techno you got the intro it starts slow then the build up, and beat drop. Itll do that two or three times in the one track. No creativity, originality or skills to be done just gotta copy every other dance song and youve got yourself a David Guetta track being played 30 times in one day, with todays Hip Hop every song I hear always has the drum clap and everybody trying to act hard. Now if people would stop feeding in to this crap and listen to some actual music like Hip Hop (Not talking about the tyga, drake, rick ross shit, im talking about the Lauryn Hill, Andre 3000, KRS-one, Nas type of Hip Hop) and I guarentee this community would be so much more intelligent. Now Hip Hop aint the only music which should be listened to more, forget chris brown, trey songs and rihanna, go back and listen to more Brian Mcknight, 112, Boys To Men, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, etc. Really any music which has a story to tell, a topic which involves world wide conflicts, love and a connection that makes a difference like public enemey - fight the power or michael jackson - man in the mirror, U2, Bon Jovi, Eryka Badu or especially one of my favorites the roots. Artists who do something to make a difference, not corrupt the minds of our youth by influencing materialism and blowing away our money. I have heard all these type of things in music being played on the radio and see and hear young children constantly singing along to songs such as songs like Kid Ink - money and the power which has lyrics saying he could blow all his money, wake up in the morning and make it all back. These artists put a catchy beat, some popular artists and a repetitive hook (usually four bars of the same lyrics over and over again) then rap or sing lyrics about jewelery, money and living the good life, blowing your money and not having a damn worry in the world. And parents really accept their children to listen to this bullshit? I know most of you parents grew up on some actually really talented musicians/artists, why not influence your children to listen to more of that. This music industry is falling to bits and sadly the main people who can save it are the ones who listen to the radio, support that crap they really dont know what theyre supporting or the affect its having on the music industry. Just turn off that shit, turn up some positive music and learn something. Feel the love Mariah Carey felt when making her older music or get some knowledge kicked to ya by listening to KRS-One, or Nas. Music speaks in much more ways than just to get you jumping up and down to dancing provocitively in the club. Believe it or not, music has the power to change the world, help stop poverty and help everyone to become better people just if you listen to the right music. People will call bullshit because all they really listen to is the actual bullshit being fed to them by the radio and dont understand that if we all put in as much work into making ourselves and helping others as much as you possibly can in time you and millions more can change the world.
