This is what a $10 bag of pumpkin donuts looks like after you fall on them in the middle of the street. Someone really needs to address the safety risk of having multiple cords bundled together running across the street on N Court St near the Funhouse. The cords were dark and on dark pavement and I went down with donuts, salt water taffy and Misti (our puppy). Thanks to the young nurse and the rides staff who came to assist me off the ground. I am thankful they did not have to put the equipment they use to lift those large pumpkins into service to get me up. The dog was scared, I am stiff and banged up (left elbow worse) and not one donut survived. We will have coffee and crumbs in the morning. The parade was great though. Congratulations to granddaughter Molly and the Westfall Middle School Band.
